1st Annual Sisterhood Retreat

Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Fran's house in Wheaton, IL

We hope you can join us for our very first Sisterhood Retreat.  We are planning a tranquil morning of sisterhood and fun.  Come at your leisure, and relax with your sisters.  Perhaps you'd like to peruse our alumnae chapter's scrapbooks or sing songs from your college days.  Or maybe you'd just like to sit and chat.  We promise yummy food and great conversation.  All AOIIs are welcome!  Please email Chris Miller at chrispmiller@comcast.net for more details.

Chicago Arthritis Walk 2012

Saturday, May 19, 2012 was a beautiful day to walk in Lincoln Park for the Arthritis Foundation.  Yvonne O'Connor, Karen Hickman, and Chris Miller represented our chapter and had a fabulous day in the sunshine with a lot of Chicago area AOII sisters!

Margaret's 100th Birthday!!

On May 17, 2012 we visited our beloved Margaret to celebrate her 100th birthday with her.  She is such a classy lady, and we delight in visiting her.  She's a self-described "talker" and loves to share stories about her time at Zeta chapter during the Great Depression.  Lara Duda, a local Zeta sister, came to meet Margaret who was tickled to share her celebration with a Zeta.  Our alumnae chapter presented Margaret with a brick on AOII's Walkway at HQ.  She also delighted in seeing her story appear in ToDragma.  We love you, Margaret!  Happy birthday, dear sister!
