Please join us on Thursday, October 18th at 7:00pm at Julie's home in Wheaton, IL for our annual Collegiate Craft Night.  We'll make cute AOII keychains for Iota Chapter's new members and put together a care package for the entire chapter of yummy snacks to enjoy while they're all studying their Alpha-hearts out!  If you have any books you'd like to donate to P.A.D.S., please bring those as well.  Don't forget your membership form which can be downloaded via the Membership tab above.  Email us for more details.  See you at Julie's!

Phi Chi Recruitment Workshop

We had a great time today helping Phi Chi Chapter at The University of Chicago at their recruitment workshop.  They are doing a fabulous job preparing for recruitment and definitely exceeding our expectations.  We also loved meeting Jessica and Merritt from Chicago City AC and Danielle from Chicago Northwest AC.  Thank you to all of the alumnae who came to help Phi Chi!

Our September meeting was well attended.  We had 28 members total and 7 new members attend.  It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and the wonderful food everyone brought to share.  I was surprised to see that I could fit that many people in my house!

2012 Arthritis Foundation Freedom of Movement Gala

Judie and Chris volunteered with some Chicago City AC sisters at the 2012 Arthritis Foundation Freedom of Movement Gala.  They helped set-up, decorate the ballroom, register guests, and organize prizes all while having some fun sisterhood time with Chicago sisters!  It was a fun evening filled with laughter, fancy dresses, and supporting the wonderful Arthritis Foundation.

Upcoming September Meeting

It's that time of year again...children are returning to school, recruitment is beginning at many colleges, and it is time for us to gather again after our summer break.  Our first meeting will be at 7pm on September 20, 2012 at Natalie's home in Aurora.  Once again this will be our appetizer night, so pull out your favorite recipe or stop by your favorite shop and bring a dish to share with your sisters.  This will be a fun evening of food, friendship, and yes a little business.
