At our October meeting, Natalie led us through a floral arrangement lesson. We each brought a few bouquets of flowers to share and Natalie mad the pumpkin vases with her 3D printer!

A big thank you to everyone that supported Team AOII at last weekend's Jingle Bell Run! With your support, we were able to raised $1,665 for the Arthritis Foundation. Congratulations to Ellen and Linda for placing in their age groups!

Our first Booksgiving was a great way to kick off the holiday season! We discussed "We All Live Here" by JoJo Meyers and shared a few Thanksgiving inspired dishes!

In the spirt of the college football season, we showed off our College or University loyalty by wearing out team shirt/college colors, while playing a few rounds of Bingo! Thank you to Kathy Bloom for hosting and for being the perfect Bingo announcer!

Chicago West sisters had the honor of attending the Arthritis Foundation's Freedom of Movement of Gala. It was a wonderful evening supporting and raising funds for the Arthritis Foundation!

A new season of book club is upon us! October's pick was "The Trap" by Catherine Ryan Howard.

Cheers to 35 years! This summer Jessie and Chris co-chaired their 35th Reunion at the University of Chicago. They celebrated with their Phi Chi sisters and even won The Green Gargoyle Award for best reunion committee!

While summer is not over, it is going by fast! It's hard to believe that it's time to start thinking about the new year. Last night members of Chicago West's officer team met to plan out our calendar. Get ready for a mix of old and new events, sisterhood outings, philanthropy opportunities, and so much more!

Sue Trump and her family have also had a summer filled with travel adventures! From Budapest on a Danube River Cruise, Ixtapa, Mexico by the Pacific Ocean, and Prague!

How would you describe summer? As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air." Summer is a time for relaxation, new adventures, and visits with family and friends.

Lori and her family traveled to the Canadian Rockies for a week filled with adventures and fun! They walked on a glacier, biked, hiked, and white water rafted! Here they are pictured at Jasper National Park in Alberta!

At last night's Rose Banquet, Chicago West Suburban was awarded the Alumnae Chapter of Excellence Award! Thank you to each and every one of you who helped make this possible. There is a lot to celebrate later this summer!

At yesterday's Inspiring Ambition Luncheon we were honored with three awards - Collegiate Chapter Engagement, Community & Panhellenic Involvement, and Communications. Congratulations sisters!

Let the summer fun begin! First up, our annual Ladies Night Out! Sisters gathered together for a delicious meal and a night filled with wonderful conversations.

Thank you to all of our sisters and friends that supported our Strike Out Arthritis event! With your support, we were able to raise over $1,600 for the Arthritis Foundation!

Last month Chicago West sisters attended the Arthritis Foundation’s Pathways Conference here in Lombard.  It was a wonderful evening honoring many dedicated volunteers, researchers, and partners!

We had an early Pi Day celebration at the Ronald McDonald house last week.  We served pizza and ice cream sundaes to families staying at the house.  After the meal was over, we were given a tour of the facility.  Thank you to Debbie for being a wonderful hostess!

Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora this morning!

Last night we enjoyed a sweet treat or two at our Valentine's Day celebration!  We paired Girl Scout cookies with a corresponding wine, which made for a delicious tasting.  Many thanks to Sharon for hosting us!
